Ilsfeld, May 2017 – C. R. Laurence of Europe GmbH, with its headquarters based in Ilsfeld, Germany, has appointed Dominik Hinzen (41) to the role of Managing Director. The subsidiary of the global company C. R. Laurence, Inc, with its headquarters based in Los Angeles, USA, supplies hardware, tools and daily materials for handling and processing glass to the German market as well as all countries of mainland Europe.
In its new position Dominik Hinzen is responsible of the operative and strategic management of the company for the business development in all markets of mainland Europe. The long-standing Branch Manager Harald Brinkmann will furthermore be responsible for the seamless management of the Ilsfeld-based site of about 4,000 sqm of logistics areas.
After its studies of Business Management Dominik Hinzen worked for five years in Marketing and Communications for a manufacturer of building hardware and locking systems. In 2006 he became Marketing Director for Bohle AG in Haan. From 2012 he also served as a Sales Director for Germany.
At C. R. Laurence Dominik Hinzen will mainly focus on Sales and Marketing, and the activity of the brand which has been in Europe since 2009 to adapt to its European customers. The American roots of the company which include outstanding Customer Service, high product availability and faster logistics will also play a central role in the new European strategy.
